This is my favorite panel from my work on Spider-Girl. I wish I had more time to do a REALLY good job with her. Find my own version of her and get use to drawing her. This was the closest I came.

This is the problem. People with your type of passion rarely get the recognition they should. They should have givin you more time. If the book was going to be cancelled anyway they should have let you run with. Whats the worst that could happen? Remember the original run of X-Men? Neal Adams took over on a book that was to be cancelled. They cancelled it then found out the book picked up in sales. If they had checked it before they might have saved the book. The same could have happened here.

I was super depressed they canceled her book. Such a bummer. And it just sort of fell out of print like nothing happened.

Ah well, whenever I end up being one of the top writers at Marvel I'll bring her back and Ray Height will be my artist! Because I always liked what you did with her (I own them issues! 2 and 6 if I remember it right). AH WELL! They always cancel the wrong books.
